Fleet leasing and mobility experts Alphabet (GB) Limited today celebrate their 2018 BVRLA Hero, Collections Manager Hannah Broad. The award recognises outstanding individuals working in the leasing and mobility industry who have gone above and beyond over the past year.
It is first time since 2012 that an Alphabet employee has been recognised as one of the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association’s ‘BVRLA Heroes’. Broad was one of only three individuals picked out of nominations from across the leasing and rental industry. Broad received her award from BVRLA Chief Executive Gerry Keaney at the BVRLA Annual Dinner in London as their VIP guest, following a nomination from her line manager, Miles Tetlow, Head of Collections.
Broad’s award nomination included numerous personal testimonials from Alphabet customers and colleagues and Miles Tetlow commented: “Hannah exemplifies everything we look for in an Alphabet employee and we think she is an unsung industry hero. Hannah is a passionate, positive, collaborative and truly customer-focused person which is great to have around the office. Crucially, she understands that her role – in a sensitive and potentially stressful area such as Financial Collections – has a significant impact on our commercial and customer relationships. Despite the difficult circumstances of the conversations that we have in the Collections area, Hannah proves that we can provide a positive experience in terms of our approach, attitude and way that we handle these issues. “
Overall, the BVRLA Judges were particularly impressed with Broad's commitment to customer service and her contribution to the Collections area and the overall business in the 15 months she has worked for Alphabet (GB) Ltd.
Stefan Oswald, Chief Financial Officer for Alphabet commented: “Speaking on behalf of the whole Alphabet Executive Team, we’re incredibly proud of Hannah and very pleased that the BVRLA have recognised her as one of their stars of 2018. I’m especially pleased as working in Collections, Hannah is one of my team. We’ve known for a while that Hannah is one of our unsung heroes in the business, so it’s great to see her receive external recognition for the impact she’s made to the Collections area and across the wider business over the past year. I know that Hannah is incredibly proud of the honour and it’s great to see an Alphabet employee being recognised by the BVRLA in this way for the first time since 2012.”
