Alphabet recognised as UK Top Employer for twelfth consecutive year
Leasing and mobility expert Alphabet (GB) has been independently certified as a Top Employer by the Top Employers Institute for the twelfth consecutive year – earning a top 20 place among a select number of elite-performing companies.
The accolade is given to employers who demonstrate excellence in employee conditions, develop talent at all levels and strive to continuously enhance their employment practices. Alphabet was evaluated against an international standard and named as a Top Employer after showcasing its commitment to a better world of work through exemplary HR policies and ‘people-first’ practices.
The Top Employers Institute Programme certifies organisations based on the participation and results of their HR Best Practices Survey. The survey covers six HR domains, which comprise over 100 questions across 20 topics, including People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Wellbeing and Diversity & Inclusion and more. The Top Employers Institute appraises the implementation of these HR practices and reviews how they are supported through Strategy, Ownership, Practices, Measurement and Technology.
Mike Dennett – Chief Executive Officer for Alphabet (GB) and BMW Financial Services (GB), said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be named a Top UK Employer for the twelfth consecutive year.
“Our people remain the cornerstone of our business; they’re our greatest asset. However, it’s not just about attracting the best talent, but having the right principles in place to retain them and make all team members feel valued and an integral part of our journey.
“It’s always been important to create a collaborative and nurturing environment that inspires, promotes creativity and enables people to feel connected on both a professional and emotional level.
“It’s a privilege to come to work every day and to work with such an energised and engaged team. It makes for a great working experience to deliver the best outcomes for our customers.
“We’re always excited by what we can achieve together,” he added.
