Seven up for Alphabet as company recognised as UK Top Employer in 2020

Leasing and mobility experts Alphabet (GB) Limited today announced it has been awarded the Top Employers United Kingdom 2020 Certification. This is the seventh consecutive year the company has been recognised by independent international HR certification company, the Top Employers Institute.

Organisations certified as Top Employers dedicate themselves to providing the very best working environment for employees through their progressive ‘people-first’ HR practices. 

The award is made to leading employers who demonstrate excellence in employee conditions, develop talent at all levels and strive to continuously enhance their employment practices. This global Certification Programme has certified and recognised more than 1,600 Top Employers in 119 countries across five continents.

The Top Employers Institute assessed Alphabet (GB) Limited’s approach in HR strategy, people management and employment practices. As a result, Alphabet was awarded the Top Employers United Kingdom 2020 Certification, earning the company an exclusive place among a select group of certified companies in the UK and globally.

The Top Employers Institute assesses participants through a global HR Best Practices Survey and organisations must successfully achieve required standards in a number of key areas in order to be certified. The survey encompasses over 100 questions which cover 600 ‘People Development’ practices across 10 topics: Talent Strategy, Workforce Planning, Talent Acquisition, On-boarding, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Leadership Development, Career & Succession Management, Compensation & Benefits and Culture. The Top Employers Institute evaluates the implementation of these HR practices and reviews how they are supported through Strategy, Ownership, Practices, Measurement and Technology.
