Isuzu UK is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the British Farming Awards, Farm Worker of the Year, showing support for not just diligent farm workers, but also the whole agricultural industry.

Isuzu UK has always manufactured its all-purpose pickups with the agricultural industry in mind and has always boasted an impressive payload, towing capacity and off-road capability, along with its renowned reliability and value for money. The sponsorship of this prestigious award by Isuzu UK is not just a symbol of gratitude for the individuals within the farming industry, but it is also a glowing testament of Isuzu’s dedication to the industry itself.

Celebrating ten years of the British Farming Awards, the awards evening will take place at The Vox Conference Centre in Birmingham and will be hosted by comedian and television personality Patrick Kielty. With a variety of newly refreshed awards categories including Farm Worker of the Year, the event is scheduled for Thursday, October 20th and is set to attract over 900 eager farmers and industry specialists. The nominations for the awards will now go on to be carefully examined and judged by an independent panel of experts, which includes last year's deserving winner Chloe Shorten of J.C. Innes and Son.

The Farm Worker of the Year award showcases how integral workers are to the industry, with the award highlighting those individuals who can offer examples of their self-motivation and commitment to the farm businesses they work for, as well as exhibiting resilience and innovation within their sector.

George Wallis, Head of Marketing, Isuzu UK said: “Every year there are extraordinary entries from hardworking farms in the UK and as always, we are proud to be associated with these individuals that show true grit, dedication, and commitment to their roles. Farm workers are key to the continued success of UK farms, and we are honoured to be part British Farming Awards. These awards are a real testament to all the grafters out there getting the job done.”
