What we did

As sole supplier, Alphabet is providing fully maintained contract hire vehicles as well as ongoing consultancy and support, accident management, driver risk management, and rental solutions. With a substantial fleet on flexi-lease, Alphabet began moving the housing association to contract hire vehicles as soon as possible and identified opportunities to reduce carbon emissions and fuel consumption..

Short-term rental vehicles were provided to prevent downtime during the transition, and Alphabet's conversion partners equipped believe housing's new contract higher fleet with bespoke racking and striking reflective livery.

The results

Alphabet's commitment to identifying inefficiencies and ability to provide a fully managed contract hire solution is set to reduce operational costs for believe housing by 30% over the next five years. With Alphabet's support, believe housing is also working towards its environmental targets by downsizing vehicles and moving 10% of its fleet to EVs in year one.

Alphabet ensured the fleet transition remained on track by carefully managing the vehicle changeover process. Vehicle collections and deliveries were seamlessly coordinated allowing believe housing to save on administration time and focus on driving change for its tenants and communities.
