Uwe Hildinger will take up the position of Chief Executive Officer on August 1st 2020, succeeding CEO Ursula Wingfield. He will continue the successful work of Ursula to remain future-proof and steer the company through the current challenging times.

Uwe Hildinger started his career in 2008 as Managing Director of Alphabet Germany’s Munich office. He subsequently worked as Head of Operations as well as Head of Sales and Marketing for Alphabet Germany before he took on the position of Chief Sales Officer at Alphabet International. Currently, he holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Alphabet (GB) until he will return to Alphabet Germany in August.

Uwe has devoted his entire career to fleet management: Before joining Alphabet, he held various positions at LHS Leasing where, among other accomplishments, he successfully integrated LHS Sales into Alphabet Germany. A true industry specialist at heart, he knows and understands client needs, as well as all aspects of the fleet segment, inside and out.

"I'm really looking forward to this new task", says Hildinger. "With a strong team and a clear strategy, we will set the course for a successful future as a leading provider of holistic and sustainable Business Mobility solutions – even in challenging times like these."

Marco Lessacher, CEO Alphabet International says: “I am very happy that we were able to win Uwe for this position. His ideas, personal qualities and range of experience in the fleet business are unrivalled. With these qualifications he fits perfectly to this role and we’re pleased to welcome him back to the German Alphabet family.”

Uwe Hildinger succeeds Ursula Wingfield who will take on a new position at BMW Financial Services UK. Since 2015, Wingfield led Alphabet Germany as CEO and positioned Alphabet as one of the leading providers of Business Mobility in the German leasing market. She will leave her successor a company with solid business foundations and clear and strong structures across all business areas.

“I wish Ursula the best of luck and we are grateful for everything she has achieved during her tenure at Alphabet Germany. She truly further developed the company successfully”, says Marco Lessacher, CEO Alphabet International.
