BEST OF mobility award for Alphabet and its innovative AlphaGuide app

Munich, 9 September 2021. First place for Alphabet Germany: As part of the BEST OF mobility election, initiated by the independent B2B trade magazine VISION mobility, Alphabet received the award for the AlphaGuide app. A selection of experts and readers of the magazine were entitled to vote. With the innovative user app, Alphabet, as one of the leading providers of sustainable business mobility solutions, makes everyday mobility easier for company car drivers by displaying a range of different self-services digitally and reliably.

The award was presented on Wednesday, Sept. 8, as part of the IAA MOBILITY in Munich. Uwe Hildinger, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Management of Alphabet, and Susan Käppeler, Head of Sales and Marketing, received the award in the “Connectivity” category. With the election, HUSS-VERLAG and the auditing and consulting company Deloitte awards companies and their products as well as services in the areas of mobility, connectivity, and infrastructure every two years.

“We are very happy about this award for the AlphaGuide app. It is a confirmation of our orientation and activities to make everyday mobility easier for both drivers and fleet managers by means of digital networking and mapping of various services”, says Uwe Hildinger. “What makes this award special is that, in addition to a selection of renowned experts, the readers of VISION mobility – and thus our customers and vehicle users – voted for AlphaGuide. Thank you very much for that!”

Digitalisation of fleet business with AlphaGuide

In 2010, Alphabet was the first leasing provider in Germany to launch the AlphaGuide app to ensure the individual mobility of company car drivers around the clock and to reduce the administrative workload of those responsible for the vehicle fleet. “It is our concern to make everyday mobility as efficient and simple as possible. The digitalisation of our services plays a central role in this”, explains Susan Käppeler. “This is why we are continuously developing our digital solutions such as the AlphaGuide and take into account the requirements of both users and decision-makers. This is also reflected in the number of users, that has doubled in the past year alone. “The app enables drivers to quickly and transparently handle individual processes such as claim reporting or the search for service partners.

The digital driver's license check can also be displayed using the app: drivers are guided through the control process simply and easily using a video function. Recently, the so-called "Smart Fueling" has also been possible via AlphaGuide, which ensures time-saving and contactless, secure fueling and the associated billing processes. The complete digitalisation of services and documents also reduces material consumption.
